The Vench has a range of space available for hire, including meeting rooms, a large kitchen, playground, games room and open-plan cafe space. By hiring space at The Vench you are helping to sustain our playground and vital play services for local disadvantaged children and young people in the Lockleaze community.
Playground, Playroom & Kitchen
Our playground, indoor play room and kitchen is perfect for community groups and organisations to run play sessions. The playground hosts a zip wire, drop slide, trampoline, skate and pump track, large wooden structures to climb, a toddler area with sand pit, mud kitchen and slide. We have a sports court, basket swing, outdoor tables for arts and craft and lots of space for children & young people to run around and have fun.

Kitchen & Cafe Space
We have a fully equipped kitchen suitable for catering events and cooking workshops. Facilities include: an electric 5-ring hob and 2-door oven, microwave, 3 sinks, full range of cookware and utensils, crockery and cutlery, and a serving hatch which leads to an open-plan cafe space and our kitchen garden. Ideal for community gatherings and food events and courses.

Meeting Room
A light and spacious room ideally suited for workshops, classes, meetings and courses. The room comfortably seats up to 25 people. A projector and screen, flip cart, paper and pens can be provided free of charge upon request.

Games Room
The games room is ideal for small group or 1:1 youth work, it includes a pool table, table tennis table, arcade machine and football table.
