Meet our new trampoline !
This summer The Vench welcomed a new friend to our adventure playground, a brand new Trampoline! We want to say a big thanks to GRUNDON, for supporting us with the funding for this!
At the Vench, our previous trampoline required our young people to climb a ladder, meaning it wasn’t always possible for some of our young people to easily use it. Thankfully, our new Trampoline is at ground level meaning it is much more accessible for all who wish to bounce! Our children and young people are inventing new ways to play, developing new large motor skills and being active, which is just what we wanted.
Youth Capoeira sessions!
Tonight at Youth we will be beginning our Capoeira sessions! Wahooo!
Capoeira is a Brazilian martial art that combines elements of dance, acrobatics, and music. Lessons will be held by a familiar face, our play worker Diana (see in photo) alongside other experienced Capoeira artists!
Come along 4.30-6pm.
All levels are welcome, including beginners (just like our Playworker Alice – seen in photo)
This session is a Creative Youth Network & Vench collaboration.
